    1,5 km away from our guesthouse is the village of Agios Ioannis in Pelion Greece. The village took its name from a very old church at the end of the village. Agios Ioannis has a beautiful, clean and sandy beach with very small pebbles. In the village you will find restaurants, where you can enjoy fresh fish and try the specialties and traditional cooking of Pelion, super markets, bakery, pastry shops, kiosks, grocery stores, cafeterias, fish specialties in ouzeri and bars.

    The 3 sandy beaches seen below (Agios Ioannis beach, Plaka beach and Papa Nero beach) are the ones mostly noticeable, awarded with blue flag and are favored by most.

    About 200 m away from our guesthouse there is a very old church of Holy Mary remarkable siteseeing. About 6 km away in the village of Kissos there is another church of Agia Marina built in 1650 by craftsmen from Ipiros, and is famous and one of the most important church monuments of Pelion, as it is known for its history, its architecture and the interior decoration. This byzantine basilica with 3 transcepts was renovated in 1745.

    The castle of Damouchari (Byzantine fotress) is situated in a ribbon of land that exists in the settlement and divides its two small gulfs where the famous film Mamma Mia was shot.
